CIP stands for the Continuous Improvement Process, a practice that is absolutely essential to business success. It is a quality consciousness shared by all that results in ongoing action to make all we do here the best. CIP is a method for participatory, not top-down, management based on the fact that we take more pride in our work when we have a role in decisions about it.

At AFCO, CIP also refers specifically to CIP teams, our version of the Quality Circles Japan started in 1967 after Dr. Deming from the U.S. introduced Statistical Quality Control. Today, quality circles go by many names worldwide and are made a priority even in school, government, and hospital systems.
